Sunglasses, sunscreen, hiking boots, plenty to drink and a good mood – that was our packing list for our summer excursion. Check it out!
The weather gods were kind to us and so our staff trip to the “Hörnle”, a mountain in the foothills of the Alps, was a huge joy. We ascended from Bad Kohlgrub, about 80 kilometers south of Munich.
Our destination was the picturesquely situated Hörnlehütte – which can be reached by cable car or by hiking. Once they had reached the top, the motivated climbers added the circular high-altitude trail over the three Hörnle peaks. The grouping of the three peaks had the most fascinating view. After the drive back down, we ended the evening in the authentic Augustiner Biergarten, Munich’s oldest beer garden.
You can see all of the captured moments from the Company Hiking Day in our gallery. The beautiful view and cute animal pics are included.
