Katja used to be a photojournalist. Her work is guided by interest in people and inspiring interiors with character. She’s looking for houses with that certain something. Welcome!
Katja Lösönen comes from Vaasa, Finland. She has many years of experience in the field of visual communication and has a journalistic background. She used to work as a press photojournalist. Her work has always been guided by an interest in people. Throughout her career, Katja has been involved in the development of various lifestyle brands. Now the photographer is fascinated by interiors and is inspired by houses with personality and character.
I’m trying to find houses that have that certain something.
In Finland, the tradition of isolated living exists in the middle of nowhere. Katja says with a smile. “One cannot believe how many breathtaking houses are hidden in the forest. In her spare time, Katja is building her own wooden house in the forest. For the past ten years, she has been working with her father on a summer villa in eastern Finland. They only use wood milled from trees planted by her grandfather in the 1940s. Everything is made by hand with a lot of love and time.
