Anthony Lanneretonne views photography much the way a Japanese Samurai would. The French photographer approaches his images as if engaging in battle. He sees in photography individual values, rituals, contradictions and challenges.
The French photographer, born in 1973, is passionate about photography, loves natural light and is torn between graphic visuals and poetic images. His photographs are full of atmosphere and show an inordinate attention to detail.
After attending film school, Anthony Lanneretonne worked as an assistant to a fashion and interiors photographer before beginning his own career in 2001. His photographs have appeared in numerous cookery books and he has been working for more than ten years for intentional magazines such as Maison Française, Le Monde and Vogue. He lives in Nice along with his wife and children. His apartment in a belle époque building is decorated in a purist, minimalistic style that resembles his photographs.
